Wilbanks VP Sales, formerly of Hobbs Bonded Fibers. HD developed the batting line for Hobbs by communicating with quilters, wholesale and retail businesses and long arm hobbyists and businesses. Mr. Wilbanks joined the PCP Group family bringing Darlene C. Christopherson as Director of Marketing. Darlene is an author and quilt making instructor. Pellon is known for its consistent quality so the future of this new line promises to please quilters and artisans of all types.

One of the most outstanding differences in the batting line is the new ‘board’ format. Batting is folded to fit on 24” fabric bolt-like boards; 96” wide x 9 yards and 48” wide x 15 yards. These will store nicely at the retail location as well as any quilter’s shelves. Projects of many configurations can be made from these sizes and the folded boards arrive in pristine condition. 30 yard rolls in 96”w and 120” wide are also available as well as hand folded packages.

Every quilter and artisan will be interested in this new super quality line which includes; Natural and white 100% cottons that come with or without scrim binder, & our ‘eco’nomicaly friendly Cotton/Poly blends that include Natural Blend 80% cotton & 20% Poly without scrim and Natural Blend with scrim with a substantial loft to show definition of stitch. Light Blend is 50% bleached cotton with 50% slick polyester for superb loft and softness, Dark Blend 70% cotton and 30% poly for deeper tones, Polyester, Wool, and Ultra thin Poly.
